In the final chapter of the book of Jonah, we see Jonah’s reproach and request along with God’s reproof of Jonah.

Resolute Jonah proceeded to Ninevah, preached the message God had given him and the people believed God and repented.

While Jonah relied on God in his distress, devastation, desperation and in his decision, God proved worthy of Jonah’s reliance.

When you are in rebellion against God, your actions affect both you and those around you.

As veterans in the Lord’s army, may we be willing to serve, sacrifice, be strong and have stamina for the sake of the Gospel.

Prayer should permeate our lives as Christians. We should pray at ALL times in the Spirit, with ALL kinds of prayers, alertly with ALL perseverance and for ALL the saints.

The helmet of salvation is the fifth part of the armor of God. It’s a Possession you must Have; it Protects your Head and it Provides Hope.

Because we are under aggressive attack from Satan, we must put on the shield of faith. This faith should be complete and should affect everything in our lives. In addition, our faith is strengthened by the community of other Christians.

The boots are the third part of the armor of God. The boots symbolize the Gospel of peace.
