There is a responsibility we have as Christians to be soldiers for the Lord. Believers are encouraged to fight the good fight of faith and are more than conquerers.

The Bible tells us what heaven is like. It is real and there is life after death. The things that happen on earth after chapter four happen after the rapture of the church. John is tying to describe a New Realm where God dwells on His throne.

Where do you get your advice/counsel from? Whoso walks with the wise will be wise. All wicked counselors have some wicked plans.

Paul is concerned with the spiritual health of those in the church. They need to be taught about truth, healthy words, the words of Jesus which are of sound doctrine. If you have accepted Jesus you have all you need in this life, He is enough and He has a plan and a purpose for all of us.

There is this perception of what is valued by humanity is more important than and what iJesus values for eternity, this church had no room for Jesus. You can never be to small for God to use. What's important to you?

This feast of Xerxes lasted 180 days and was to show the power and riches of Persia. It was all meant for the glory of Xerxes. This was also a feast in preparation for conquest in Greece, another world power at that time.

How was your testimony this last week? God puts believers in difficult situations to shine brightly so He can receive more glory. Your attitude and behavior reflects the testimony that you bring to the honor of God.

Jesus reminds the church that He is the open door, He is the way. There are obstacles to the open door but can be overcome by a faithful, willing servant being obedient to the word of God.

The Book of Esther is a book of courage and a divine plan for God's People. God takes a young girl and puts her in a terrible environment but because of God's providence she is put in a position with the king. Our duty as believers is to remain faithful whether we perish or not.

The church age is living in the time of "the things that are" as written in the book of Revelation. This was the smallest of the seven churches and was a church that had no condemnation from the Lord, they were a faithful church.
