James 5:13-18 gives us a timeless pattern for dealing with burnout.

Burnout is weak-weariness which is a result of sin: Either one's own sin

or other persons' sin against us. Jesus is not driven and He doesn't driveany of His sheep!

Jesus is the ultimate word from God who brings salvation

Today we return to the Book of James with Pastor Elliott expounding Chapter 5:7-12. The sermon, "Pressure Points", gives all of us who are pressured what to dwell on and what to do when we are pressured

How do we resolve to live in the world but not be of it? How can Christian live in this broken-down world, filled with sin and distractions at every turn, and not compromise? Is it even possible? What’s the balance between using the world as an opportunity for sharing Christ or just being dragged down? It’s a hard balance to strike, but one that God has prepared us for with the example of a teen named Daniel.
