In chapters 1-4 we saw the person of Jesus Christ revealed (His birth and baptism), then chapter 5-7 we saw His principles recorded (the Sermon on the Mount), and then in chapters 8-11 we saw His power released (as He performed miracles and sends His disciples out to do the same). Now in chapter 11 we begin to see a shift in Jesus’ ministry, as we begin to read about resistance, challenges, and attacks that will be brought against Him and upon His followers.
