We finish up chapter 1 and dive into and finish chapter 2. We learn more about (1) Paul’s ministry (2) Christ’s ministry (3) how philosophy and traditions of men deceive and cheat us of Christ. We continue to learn about our freedom in Christ and His saving, redemptive work

We learn how Colossians is a “theological vaccine” against heresy as we learn that Jesus is God and what it means to be the “firstborn” and “firstfruits” of creation. We also learn about the doctrine of justification and how Jesus now reconciled us to God and salvation

The final part to our Discipleship series (Part 2) as we continue in our study through Philippians 2:5-30. The 3 main points from this study are: humility, servanthood, and obedience. (3/3/23)
