    12. Romans 1:18
    Pastor Phil Ballmaier
    Calvary Chapel Elk Grove
    4-19-23
Tonight Pastor Phil puts the spotlight on Romans Chapter 1, verse 18. It's clear in the times that we live in that wickedness has become more apparent, and for the most part without remorse or accountable. We know from scripture that God is a righteousness, true and just God, and evil will not go unpunished. One day the truth will stand!!
"But God shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness." Romans 1:18 (NLT)
As Pastor Phil described previously, Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. So if he shared the Gospel there, whomever received it would carry God's Word, and the testimonies of Paul and the work they'd seen done out into the four corners of the world.
Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God. In the first 17 verses of this letter, Paul is introducing himself to the Christians in Rome.

Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God. In the first 17 verses of this letter, Paul is introducing himself to the Christians in Rome.
As an apostle, and a bondservant separated by the Gospel.. The people of this region didn't quite know him yet and it was imperative by Paul to reiterate the foundations of faith in Jesus, the incarnate Son of God, and the Resurrected Lord. Let's see how Pastor Phil continues to outline his introduction of this great book of the Bible.

    8. Romans 1:10-16
    Pastor Phil Ballmaier
    Calvary Chapel Elk Grove
    (2-22-23)
