Tonight Pastor Phil begins in Romans 12. In Chapters 1-11 we covered the doctrinal position of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. Chapter 12 begins the practical application to our lives.
In tonight's study Pastor Phil focuses on spiritual warfare and how the world continually tries to influence non-believers and believers alike. And we must be continually on guard, fighting these battles with the truths of God's Word alone. He also touches on the Gifts of The Spirit and how believers should be using these gifts for Him, and the Body of Christ.
    ***
Paul chose Rome for a reason when he went out to preach. Firstly, because God had sent him, but because Rome was a central 'point of the world' as 'all roads lead to Rome'. So if he shared the Gospel there, whomever received it would carry God's Word, and the testimonies of Paul and the work they'd seen done out into the four corners of the world.
Often referred to as the Gospel according to Paul, and the greatest book ever written, Paul's letter to the Romans will become our focus as Pastor Phil continues to lead us through the Word of God.
Calvary Chapel Elk Grove is a non-denominational fellowship located in Roselle, a northwest suburb of Chicago in Illinois.

    100. Romans 12:1-2 | Final
    Calvary Chapel Elk Grove
    Pastor Phil Ballmaier
    9-3-25
Tonight Pastor Phil begins in Romans 12. In Chapters 1-11 we covered the doctrinal position of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. Chapter 12 begins the practical application to our lives.
The Lord calls us to be set apart from the world — living sacrifices for Him. As individuals and as the Body of Christ.
