This week, after being taught what Jesus says about our gifts and talents, we were challenged to ask ourselves, "What has God placed in my hands?” and "What am I doing with what He's given me?" At tonight's service, we heard from a panel who each shared the gifts God has entrusted them with and how they practically develop and apply them to their everyday lives.

For the launch of our five-week Entrusted series, Pastor Doug opens up Matthew 25 as we study The Parable of the Talents, and how to practically put our God-given gifts to use. Join us as we fearlessly discover what God has put in our hands, and how we can wisely steward our gifts for His glory.

This evening has been set aside for our church body to gather for encouragement, prayer, and an authentic night of worship while lifting up the name of Jesus.

We're living in dark times. The world seeks political, medical, and scientific solutions, but there are no such solutions for problems of the heart. Only the gospel can heal the human condition; therefore, the baton has been placed in our hands. Christ has commissioned us, His church, to be a movement not a monument, and He invites us to give and serve right here in our community that our light may shine before men.

In keeping with the celebratory spirit surrounding Calvary’s 30 year anniversary, Pastor Doug and Pastor Fidel reflect on their personal history at Calvary and the call to make disciples of the next generation. They are joined by the regional campus pastors for an endearing, nostalgic, and candid experience that feels more like a family meeting than a church service.

In a celebration of thirty years of making disciples since the founding of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Pastor Doug Sauder shares scriptures, stories, and insights on how God has used many people to bring thousands to Christ through the ministry happening at this church. Video clips present testimonies from several pastors sent from here to start other churches, and show many people through the years praying to receive Christ.

In this youth takeover, we learn how to intentionally invest in the next generation and pass on the baton of faith. Teaching from Psalm 78, Andrew Lundy, youth pastor at HSM Boca, shares two things we should be teaching the next generation: the testimony of God (what He's done) and the law of Israel (who God is).

Pastor Doug wraps up the Book of Acts in chapter 28 by walking us through the final trial of the apostle Paul. Through Paul's journey, we see how his incredible tenacity, to speak God's truth wherever he goes, has been key to spreading the gospel from Ancient Jerusalem all the way to Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. This proves the end of Acts isn't the end of the story and the revolution is still on!

Some people live in the dark and don't know it. In this message, Pastor Reuben Ramsaran tells the story of a blind man that knew Jesus was the key for his restored vision and did whatever it took to make sure Jesus knew about his need.

In today's study we find Paul's journey rocked by a storm, but despite the foreboding circumstances he is unshaken. When it appears all hope is lost, Paul takes a stand and encourages the men aboard his ship to take heart. Here we find Paul's true character revealed under crisis along with a simple but valuable lesson—it's always too soon to quit.
