In this week’s study guide, Boca campus Worship Pastor Andrew Wooddell expands on our examination of Mark 4:1–34.

This study begins with the church in Sardis which was an important trade route that ran east to west through the kingdom of Lydia, and was a center of pagan worship and site of a temple of Artemis. Also in this study is the church in Philadelphia which was known for its agricultural products and was affected with earthquakes which destroyed the city several times.

This week, we’ll use several worksheets to help us begin to tear down the strongholds or thought patterns that have been created based on our experiences, feeling, and core beliefs. We need to examine and challenge these core beliefs which have been created and reinforced by our A.N.T. (automatic, negative thoughts).
