It’s a musical journey through the heavy lessons of 1 Samuel 24 in this teaching called Born To Run (David’s Mixtape).

1 Samuel chapter 22 holds some difficult lessons for us even as we see a gripping story unfold: Drama at Ramah!

At the beginning of 1 Samuel 22, we see an important change in David. His repentance at the end of chapter 21 is certainly a big part of that, but we also being to see a “recipe for refuge” that God is bringing to this man after His own heart.

Our study this week takes us all over the pages of Scripture; from 1 Samuel, to the Psalms, to the Gospel of Luke. Along the way we will see the need for the simple, yet powerful practices of repentance and worship.

1 Samuel 19-20 is a turning point in the book - or, as our title implies, the “End of Part One.”
