King Amaziah and King Uzziah started well, but their hearts weren't loyal to the Lord. In 2 Chronicles 25-26 we see the importance of an undivided heart and how humility will keep us from many mistakes.

"Consider the path you're on, because it ends somewhere. There's only one path that leads to life." When a person is walking away from the Lord, He gives them opportunities to turn, to repent, before judgment comes.

There are countless reasons that we can give thanks! In Psalm 100, the Psalmist calls the people to praise the Lord for both who He is, and what He does in our lives.

As our world is headed towards judgement, we as God’s people should be willing to cleanse our hearts and warn the world of the coming judgement.

Whatever the storm you’re in, Jesus has the authority to overcome it. As you simply come to Him, placing your faith and trust in Him, He can work.

It’s so easy to get caught up in all the things of this life. As we praise the Lord, it reminds us that He is on the throne, that He is over all.
