Today we transition from the spectacular prayer, to the spectacular prophecy of--Daniel Ch 9. Daniel, -we have discovered- was a man of the Word. Yes, he was a prophet,--but he was still a pupil, a seer yet a student of God-s Word.

Daniel Ch 9 is deservedly one of the most famous, most significant Ch-s -in all of scripture- pertaining to biblical prophecy. Because you find in Daniel 9 a -road map- -if you will-, an outline for biblical prophecy. It also offers a timeline, speaking forth one of the most incredibly fulfilled prophecies -might I say to you- down to the exact day ever uttered in the Word of God.

You should know, that skeptics use Daniel Ch 8 to cast a shadow of doubt on the book of Daniel. Because they don-t believe that the bible could possibly, truly prophesy-predict the future. Yet Daniel Ch 8 contains prophecy that was fulfilled so precisely, so specifically, so spectacularly that they conclude someone must-ve written this book after the history - then simply attached Daniel-s name to it

We left off w-court being called to order before the throne of God. Daniel had been--given a vision in which the -Ancient of Days- had taken His seat upon the throne - was--preparing to exercise His prerogative as Judge of heaven - earth. The bible is very clear--that all creation will stand to give an account before the Creator-

What other resource in the world -outside of God-s Word- dares to stake its integrity, its legitimacy, it-s genuine authenticity on the fact that it will tell you what-s coming down the pike anywhere from later the same day to thousands of years away with absolute unyielding authority - if it ever misses even once- you can throw the whole thing away - discredit it all- Only God will dare to do that - that-s exactly what He-s done in Daniel Ch 7.

In Daniel Ch 4 Nebuchadnezzar declares peace to the nations- In Ch 5, Babylon is on the eve -literally- of destruction.

The text before us today is completely unique. Daniel Ch 4 is the only section of scripture in your entire bible that contains the conversion testimony of a Gentile king. We get to hear in his own words what God did to him, what God did for him - of the change God made in him.

Daniel Ch 3 inspires us to stand firm in our faith. It-s yet another reminder of the fact that God will never leave us nor forsake us but that He is always with us. We see before us in the practical that which the scripture teaches in principle.
