Most Christians consider the Bible to be the most important book ever written. And no doubt, it is the greatest book on earth. But as we will learn in our lesson today, there is an even more important book being housed in eternity, and that is the Lamb’s Book of Life. And only those whose names are written in this book will make it to New Jerusalem–the eternal city of God. Those whose names aren’t found in the book will […]

The book of 1 Kings is the sequel to 1 and 2 Samuel and begins by tracing Solomon’s rise to kingship after the death of David. The story begins with a united kingdom, but ends in a nation divided into 2 kingdoms. Join us for this verse by verse study by Brandon Guidry.

In the last few studies we have taken a look at the soon coming millennial kingdom of Christ on earth. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any better we come to chapter 21 and John’s vision of heaven on earth in eternity.  In this vision, we see a new heaven and a new earth and a New Jerusalem. But none of these are eternity’s main attraction. Eternity’s main attraction is Jesus Christ Himself living in all His glory […]

To them that means we […]

When Brenda and I were in Israel this past winter, we had a tour guide who took us to the very spot supposedly where Jesus was born in Bethlehem. We also had a chance to tour Golgatha and the Garden Tomb, the places where many Christians believe Jesus was crucified and buried. But as thrilling as it was to tour those biblical sites from the past, I can get even more excited about the tour John gives us of the […]

Several commentators over the years have likened the Millennium to the honeymoon of Christ and His church. And it’s true that immediately after the Wedding Supper of the Lamb we will return to the earth as the bride of Christ to rule and reign with Him for a 1000 years. And it will certainly be a time of honeymoon-like bliss! However the Millennium begins with the greatest battle ever fought: The Battle of Armageddon. That’s some way to start a […]
