This psalm is titled a psalm for the Sabbath day, That means it was sung in corporate worship and was a day to remember and rejoice-a good lesson for the church when we gather corporately.

We have to remember that God really loves these people that are about to die. He wanted them to be His, every parent can understand how much God loves His kids, even the wayward ones.
