Calvary Chapel of San Antonio

This is our first study in this book. Acts is an indispensable book. In it, we are told how a few people changed the history of the world within one generation! Without Acts none of the books that follow would make much sense.

This Bible study covers a prayer from the Apostle Paul for the Christians in Philippi. In the prayer Paul asks that these Philippian Christians will have love that abounds, that they will discern what is best, and that they will be filled with the fruit of righteousness. This is a prayer for God's Glory in them.

Our chapter tonight covers 40 years of Joash’s reign as king.

I will tell you up front tonight that Joash is a king whose faith is shallow. He only does what is right in the eyes of God as long as Jehoiada is around.
