In this teaching we finish Lamentations 1 and move into Chapter 2, where we see the seriousness of sin, the faithfulness of God’s warnings, and why even in seasons of deep sorrow we can still bring our grief honestly before the Lord.

As Jerusalem mourns the devastation around her, Lamentations begins to reveal something deeper: this wasn’t simply the result of Babylon’s power. God had warned His people for generations, and the consequences of their continued rebellion had finally come.

What happens when we do what’s right—and it still costs us something?
