In the story of Jesus’ first miracle; turning water to wine, we’ll see a preview of what He came to do – Remove shame.

The book of John sets up a narrative unlike the other three gospels. Less concerned with the "where" and "when", John focuses on the "how" and "why".

Joshua challenges the Nation of Israel to choose who they will serve. The challenge remains for us today to choose whether we will be fence sitters or Christ followers.

Joshua has conquered Canaan and now the Lord is dividing up the land among the tribes.

When we sin we can not hide it from God and when we sin it hurts those around us, which Achan discovered.

Joshua leads the Israelites to victory and conquers the Souther and Northern parts of Cannan...proof that the Lord is with them.

Joshua had fears with leading the Israelites to conquer Cannan. Many times the Lord encouraged him to be strong and courageous. Something every Christian needs to hear from our Lord as we encounter trials in life.

Why did God instruct the Israelites to do what they did to defeat Jericho? Because He loves us and does everything for a reason.
