This week in Matthew 16 we learn about discerning the signs of the times, current day Caesarea Philippi as we follow his journey up from the region of Magdala to the Kingdom of Og and learn a little more about the Og king of Bashan

Teaching from the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 15. I the first part of the chapter Pharisees question Jesus about his disciples not washing their hand before eating. Jesus strongly rebuke the pharisees and point out their hypocrisy. Following from this there is a section o n the gentile woman with great faith, then healing of multitudes and the chapter ends with the feeding of the four thousand.

This week Pastor Stewart takes us through the hidden nuggets that apply to us Bereans today in Matthew 14 - from the beheading of John the Baptist, Jesus feeding the multitude and the lesson when he leaves his disciples in a boat in the storm. Some good learnings in this study.

Third part of the teaching on the Mystery Kingdom. Today's teaching is from Matthew 13 verses 31 to 42 and covers the 5 parables: The mustard seed; The Hidden Treasure; The pearl of great price; the Dragnet and the householder. These parables teach on the mystery kingdom and about Satan's attempts to corrupt it.

This follows on from last weeks teaching where the Pharisees declared Jesus works were from Beelzebub. In This teaching the consequences of the unpardonable sin are explained. Jesus from here on teaches in parables. Jesus explains to his disciples why, and we learn about the Mysteries of the church.
