The threat of legalism is a constant one. In the Bible, we see that a person is saved by grace and is to continue in grace. In Acts 15, there is a group of people who want to impose legalism on new believers. We see in this study how the early church came together and responded to "The Threat Of Legalism".

The Apostle Paul was an amazing person. He endured so many trials in order to bring the Gospel to those unreached places and yet, he never seemed to waver. He was faithful and he was persistent and that is what is needed from us, Faithful and Persistent Ministry.

Acts 10 is a pivotal chapter in the book of Acts as well as the early church. God wanted the gospel to go into all the world and here we see the Gospel break into the Gentile world, to those that re non-Jewish. We see the conversion of a centurion named Cornelius but we also see a conversion of Peter, from legalism to grace.

As we look at the end of Chapter 9, we see that the early church had peace in the midst of perfection. We also see Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, come and pray and then receive power to heal a lady that died. We too, can have peace, be in prayer and then have power.
