Paul now moves ahead to give Timmy some practical instructions. First he is to remain strong in Grace, endure and faithfully  teach what he has learned to others so that they in turn can continue to share the gospel.

In 2 Timothy 1, Paul encourages Timothy to stay strong in his faith, especially since Paul knows his time is short. He reminds Timothy to use his God-given gifts and not be afraid to face challenges, emphasizing that God has given him strength and love. It’s all about staying courageous and committed, even when things get tough.

Judges 21 recounts the Israelites' struggle to preserve the tribe of Benjamin after a civil war, leading to a controversial plan to secure wives for the surviving men. This chapter underscores themes of desperation and moral compromise in a broken nation. The good news is God’s promises remain unbroken to them and to us.

Today we learn to importance of staying true to our calling as disciples. The best way to do that is by fighting the good fight of faith through the tools Jesus gave us: love, patience, forgiveness, and kindness.

Join us today as we recount one of the major low points of the Israelite people in the Old Testament. The good news that comes out of this story is that God is faithful, patient, and ultimately sent his son to save us and teach us to be better people.

In 1 Timothy 6:1-10, Paul emphasizes that godly living involves honoring authority and prioritizing spiritual integrity over material wealth. True contentment comes from a life rooted in faith and righteousness, recognizing that the pursuit of money can lead to temptation and distraction from our ultimate purpose in Christ.

We know that the God listens. We know that God is at work in our lives. But we might have unanswered prayer in our life that we are trying to pray and work through in our lives. Let us come together and prayer for the Lord to help lead us through His plan and promise to work it all for good!
