Pastor Pete continues the series of the Minor Prophets going through the book of Hosea. In this study Pastor Pete draws the comparison between the husband that God desires to be for His people and how sin is the opposite, enslaving people.

God’s people must turn from their idolatrous pursuit of lovers who will not satisfy and return to the Lord, their true husband and redeemer. Hosea points us to Jesus and the great price He paid to bring us back to Himself. Pastor Pete leads us through Hosea chapter 1 this morning, looking at how God calls His people back to Himself.

The minor prophets are a collection of books that bear the prophets name. The books are not about the men themselves but pointing a people to a faithfulness and fidelity to God. Each book is rich with foreshadows of Jesus Christ and a pursuit of God’s people with an exhortation to holiness. Pastor Pete gives us an introduction to our new series which will take us through each book of the minor prophets.

Pastor Pete takes us through the day when Jesus makes His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We were created to worship, we are the ones called to sing His praises, not the rocks!!
