  • Exodus 9:1-12, AWE: Denied
Pastor Brian Daly presses forward into this timely study.
The heart is hardened. The evidence is rejected. The existence of the living God is denied. Current days, yes, but in this message we are talking about Pharaoh. It is ok to be a skeptic, but when undisputable evidence to the contrary is revealed, it is no longer good to remain a skeptic.
God reveals to Pharaoh and the Egyptians 5 truths:
    1 Meaning of Salvation
    2 Purpose of Life
    3 Folly of idolatry
    4 Superiority of faith
    5 Consequence of rebellion
Pharaoh is now without excuse. In this age of grace, we have no excuse. Every time we deny God, it comes with a price.

  • Exodus 8:16-32, Awe: Declared, Part 3
In this current moment in history, we should be seeking Jesus with a greater urgency than we ever have. He is our surety in all uncertainty. All of the worlds’ idols have been shaken. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Any spiritual compromise is getting less than God’s best. Behold, today is the day of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.
Pastor Brian Daly presses forward virtually in this study in the book of Exodus.

  • Exodus 7:14 - 8:15, "Awe: Demonstrated"
As events have pushed the church out of our usual facility and into a remote location, the recorded audio quality is challenging but the message has perfect timing. Nothing can stop an unstoppable God. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. In these days, let us not hoard our faith, our love our God revealed wisdom but freely as it was given let us freely pour it out. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Pastor Brian Daly continues this study into Exodus where God is having Moses deliver non-negotiable terms to Pharaoh. When God speaks, creation responds. Pharaoh tells Moses “tomorrow.” Christian, tomorrow, has become today. We have the peace, hope and answers that a desperate world is seeking. May we all shine like a city on a hill.

  • Exodus 6:14 - 7:13 "Awe Defined"
Awe = a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder.
Our best years are not behind us and our best ministry days are yet ahead. Consider Moses, 80 years young, Aaron 83 years young. Both preparing to embark on a 40 year assignment. The glory of young men is their strength and the splendor of old men is their gray hair. We have been bought with a great price! Our inadequacies are an invitation to tap into God’s strength. His grace is sufficient. Watch how quickly darkness flees when we turn on the light. This message can also be heard on the church website at ccsanramon.org and viewed on YouTube.

  • Exodus 5-6:13, It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better
“Let My people go!” Four centuries have passed with Israel still captive under the Egyptians. The scene is set for Moses to approach Pharaoh and Moses will soon learn that this will not be a one and done. Pharaoh exercises all the power he has, but God, is going to exercise all the power that He has. God was the ‘I Am’ for Moses and He is the ‘I Am’ for whatever challenge is before us today. We can’t handle it but God can. He is simply asking us to just be faithful. Let us turn our why into who He is and in our prayers ask Him our tough questions.

  • Ezra Chaper 1, "Hearts, Seasons and Plans"
All three of these are in God’s hands. We need to work eagerly in response to God’s goodness, leave the business of changing hearts to God and celebrate the way God restores. Restoration and redemption is what He does best.
Guest Speaker March Villareal teaches from the book of Ezra. This message can also be heard on the church website at ccsanramon.org and viewed on YouTube.

  • Exodus 4:18-31 "a Father, a Son, an act of Redemption"
Pastor Brian Daly teaches from the great book of Exodus where God tells Moses to just ‘show up’ and I, God, will take it from there with Moses as His servant. Not all plans begin well as is revealed again to Moses. Daily we must deny the flesh and be led by the Spirit. Put our hand to the plow and not look back. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

  • Exodus 3:11 - 4:17, Beautiful Reluctance?
The great book of Exodus. When God calls us we reply just like Moses did; ‘Great, but what has this got to do with me?” Reluctance is understandable but disobedience is not. It’s not who I am but who is God? For My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways My ways. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Do you feel old, tired maybe with no vision? Moses begins this chapter in his life at 80 years old! Join us in this amazing study with Pastor Brian Daly.

  • Exodus 3:1-10, Burning...Not Consumed...
Pastor Brian Daly begins Chapter 3 in this study. The burning bush moment when God gives Moses the call and the commission. God called Moses by name, He knew his name and He knows your name. The Creator of the Universe knows you by name. God sees, He hears and knows your sorrows. He will save you from something to prepare you for something. In this case Moses will lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. Keep in mind, Moses is only 80 years young.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

  • Exodus 2:11-25 The Way Up Is Down
God wants to call us all to a higher purpose. Many times there is a waiting period. At times it may feel like it is a long waiting period, of dry time, when nothing is happening. We can not expedite the perfect work of God. This is because the training has to happen, the steps have to be climbed. The way up is really down because we need to be emptied to be filled. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and trust that God is working, and in His timing, it will come to pass.
