Prophets help in communication with God. Three premises to bear in mind: 1) All of us need to hear from God; 2) God REALLY wants to speak to US; 3) God will speak to us through someone else.

Beware of false prophets. A prophet speaks truth only if it's consistent with the Bible; you will know them not by their words but by their behavior!

Have you trusted Christ as your Savior?

If not pray: “Jesus, please forgive me of my sin, come into my life and help me to follow you”

Ask a trusted Christian friend to evaluate your life. Ask them to be honest and kind, pointing out at least 2 positives and 2 areas to work on

The only way to develop an accurate understanding of God is by Revelation!

- It is the Compassion of God that moves Him to come to the Aid of Fallen Man

Point 2: Suffering comes from:

- Broken due to the World being Broken

- Mistreatment of others

- Self-Inflicted Suffering

Write out a covenant between you and God.

Include verbiage allowing God to evaluate your life with his word and committing your personal life, family life, community life and church life to the Lord.

Sign it and share it with someone you trust.
