As we finish up chapter 24 of Matthew, Pastor David looks at the differences between the good servant and the evil servant in regard to the rapture. Pastor David examines the definitions of 1) Rapture: Latin- to be caught up; Greek- Greek to be taken away by force. 2) Imminent: Latin - hang right over; inserted into; to interfere with Greek - impending and near; approaching as if it is about to happen; to occur at any moment. We are challenged to be good stewards, which means to be entrusted with something that belongs to someone else.

Pastor David continues in the prophesy update as we keep working our way through the book of Matthew. In this message, Pastor David compares our time to the "days of Noah" that we see in our text. What lessons can we learn from this parabolic form of teaching? The big takeaway for the day is: You protect your stuff, you protect your life, but do you protect your eternity?

Pastor David Halan continues in the Book of Matthew, looking at the prophesy referred to in Chapter 24. Jesus is giving his disciples warnings for what to look for in the great tribulation. Pastor David explains that this time is not something we are likely to see because the Rapture will occur prior to the tribulation. But these things are told to us so that we can warn the world and hopefully bring them out of the tribulation.
