Calvary Church of Southwest Virginia

The world is seeking happiness rather than what causes happiness. Like a doctor trying to treat the pain but not the disease. The beatitudes show us what bring true happiness.

We have the pleasure of having Kishor Pandagade from ANM. Kishor is from India. Please listen as Kishor shares his story.

Join us in Pastor Matthew Chapmans Sermon on the Mount Series.  Today was part one titled: The Gospel Crushes Us.

Listen to this great message from Josh Hale. This message is on the importance for we believers to be united to live out God\'s plan for The Church.

Marriage & relationships are hard. Success begins & ends with pleasing God in all we do & in the relationships we have. You CAN survive & even thrive if you make it your business to please God!!

It's not our job to build God's church, Jesus said He would do that (Matthew 16:18) It IS ourjob to make disciples. (Matthew 28:19) Praying that 2017 will be a year of "disciples who make disciples!"

1 Timothy 2:1-2 says to pray "for all who are in authority, that we may live a quiet & peaceable life." its not about politics or personal preference, it's about His Kingdom.

The Sh'ma Prayer begins "hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One" (Deut 6:4). When it is revealed to us who God is there is no real alternative to serving Him. Our response is to love Him and talk about Him everywhere we go!

"Behold, I make all things new."  When we are made new through Jesus, we become new creatures.  When the Lord restores us, we are restored to better than before. Listen to this wonderful message from Pastor Matthew. Our pray is, this message encourages and strenghtens you.
