God is always faithful to His people, and we should trust in Him and be faithful.

Tribulation martyrs cry out for God"s vengeance, and the earth is shaken by a great earthquake. The wrath of God is coming, and there is no way of salvation other than Jesus.

In succession they bring a false peace, open warfare, global famine and inflation, and death. Judgment is coming, but God is always in control and Jesus is the way of salvation.

Dr. John H. Munro April 17, 2016 Revelation 3:14-22 In the last of the seven letters to the churches, Laodicea receives no commendation, only condemnation for being lukewarm. They are blind to their condition, and Jesus urges them to repent and respond to His personal invitation.

Dr. John H. Munro April 10, 2016 Revelation 3:7-13 The Church at Philadelphia receives no condemnation or criticism from Jesus. As a church it is not perfect but has persevered to remain true to His Word, standing as an encouraging example of faithfulness.

Dr. John H. Munro March 20, 2016 Revelation 3:1-6 The church at Sardis is rebuked by Jesus as being spiritually dead in stark contrast to its outward reputation of being alive. Jesus responds in grace to provide a remedy if they wake up, strengthen, remember their commitment, hold fast and repent for a reward of spiritual purity and eternal security.

Dr. John H. Munro March 13, 2016 Revelation 2:18-29 In the longest letter to the seven churches, Thyatira is commended as the all-knowing Lord Jesus recognizes their love, service, and endurance. But Thyatira is rebuked for tolerating sin in their midst. Judgment is promised without repentance and Jesus encourages the faithful in Thyatira to hold fast for an ultimate reward of victory and authority over the nations.

Munro February 7, 2016 Revelation 2:12-17 In the letter to Pergamum, Jesus commends their faithfulness despite their location in a hostile culture, but condemns those who have compromised and followed false teachings. For those who repent and distinguish truth, they are promised bread from heaven (life), and a new name, emphasizing the special relationship Jesus has with His followers.
