No Time for Wimps” is a teaching to help restore the passion of Paul as we march into this new time in the world.  We want to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NLT) 58So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

Hebrews 11:24-27 (NLT) 24It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward. 27It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.

Main Idea:  God’s biggest objective in our journey is not to get us to a destination, but to prepare us for that destination.

Homework Assignment:  The shepherd boy could have never become David without the pasture.  What “pasture” season has helped to shape your life in God?

Main Idea:  This is a great story of hope found in the book of Ruth that begins in devastation and ends in total bliss.  

Homework Assignment:  What is becoming more like the gospel mean to you?  How can you become more like the gospel this week?

Main Idea:  To succeed in the life God has for us, we need to truly define how we see God.

Homework Assignment:  For a Christian, what is it that you need to keep shouting out loud as you live?

Main Idea:  The law could provide us direction as to where to go, but not the power to get there.  Thankfully there’s a new Moses and His name is Jesus.

Homework Assignment:  If you’re saved today, what was your life like before Jesus transformed your heart?

Main Idea:  We do not need to turn over a new leaf; we need a new life.

Homework Assignment:  Discuss and write down the meaning of “the Gospel”.

Main Idea:  God’s promises are true.  When we face obstacles, will we walk in faith or fear?  

Homework Assignment:  What circumstance in your life right now tempts you to walk in fear?  What are you going to do about this?

Main Idea:  To understand “The Day of Atonement” in the Old and the New Testament.  We all need atonement or redemption in our lives.

Homework Assignment:  From this message, how would you be able to describe what your sacrifice of praise should look like?

Main Idea:  God’s ultimate answer to all the pains and struggles of life is Jesus, the Lamb of God.

Homework Assignment:  In what area of your life has the Lord made you free, but you’ve not yet learned how to walk out that freedom on a daily basis?
