As the Book of Joshua highlights the failures of the tribes of Israel in fully possessing the land God gave to them, we find warnings for our lives today. The pitfalls that tripped up Israel are the same pitfalls that will keep us from possessing and walking in the spiritual promises God has given to us.

As we grow older in the Lord it becomes easy to get settled in our walk with the Lord and pass up the opportunities to grow in Him. But in the life of Caleb we find a different example. We find a man who though he had experienced much in the Lord, he had a desire to press on into more. In his example we find a great challenge for our own life today.
