Ps. 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. It is not referring to your birthday. Nor does it refer to every day as a gift from God. But it refers to the specific day that Messiah would enter Jerusalem. A specific day that was predicted through the prophet Daniel over 400 years before [Dan.9:24-26]. It is the day we celebrate as Palm Sunday. Let’s discover why you should rejoice, be glad about that day, and worship Jesus.

When we contemplate Jesus’ sacrifice for us, His example to us, and restoration of us, it is only reasonable that we will want to sacrificially serve God. Join us as we consider three more reasons to serve God.

Following Jesus’ encounter with the rich young ruler, Peter asked how Jesus’ disciples would be rewarded for their sacrifices to follow Him [19:27]. Jesus promised eternal life and hundredfold eternal reward. The Parable of the Vineyard Workers amplifies the teaching on eternal life and rewards. Let’s discover how Christ rewards justly, generously and graciously.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke record the rich young ruler’s quest for eternal life. Despite abundant possessions, prominence, position, and practical religion he is aware that something is lacking in his life. Thus he desperately pursues Jesus to ask, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” Let’s discover what’s lacking.

What would your life look like if you simply rediscovered the Great Commandments and did them? We are called to love God supremely and love our neighbors as we love self. If we do it our lives and community will be radically transformed.

God’s view of marriage, divorce, singleness, and children is very different than the unbelieving culture that we live in. Jesus wants you to know that if you do life God’s way you will discover the contentment that you seek and bring glory to God.

Christ’s disciples must confront sinning believers to encourage repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. The unity and health of a community of faith depends on it. Let’s discover how together.
