In our message today we are going to look at the command of Jesus to His disciples. He has risen from the dead, conquering sin, hell and the devil. And now He is sending His Spirit to help us live our faith outward.

Would it surprise you to know that the early followers of Jesus were just as skeptical of a resurrection as we are today? In fact, none of Jesus’ closest followers even believed that He would rise from the dead. Nobody expected that. We live in a day and age of understandable skepticism. We believe in what we can see today. Resurrection does not fit into many narratives and yet maybe we can let a 2000 year old story impact our worldview today.

In this message we will celebrate mothers. We will look at the women who were there at the cross and the tomb. The apostle Paul spoke of caring for Christians in the same way a nursing mom loves her child. In the same way, God loves you more than you can imagine. Mary, the mother of Jesus, stood by His Side from the womb to the tomb and we want to honor all our moms for their love.
