If I could sum up the Trial of Jesus Christ in one word it would be this; Unjust. More laws where broken, evidence invented and strings pulled in His trial than any other in history. Despite all of this, Jesus’ trial and death wasn't without purpose or unexpected.

I firm foundation is key for a building, without it, the building will begin to lean until it falls to the ground. I spiritual live is the same, without a firm spiritual foundation we will never be able to grow or mature. We will never be able to put our weight down. Romans 8 gives us some key truths as a foundation that is strong enough for us to build on.

Grace is an awesome thing, we are saved by it and our sin can not exhaust it. However, there are a lot of misunderstandings about grace. One of the most fundamental questions about the Christian's life of grace is “does it give us a license to sin?” Paul gives us the short and the long answer in Romans chapter 6.

Infomercials have always loved to use that catch phrase, "but wait...there's more!" It always refers to some special benefit or feature that makes an already “marvelous” product even better. In Romans chapter 5 Paul uses that same idea to illustrate just how amazing this justification through grace really is.

We all can look into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars. We all can see their beauty, light and motion. For centuries everyone believed that the earth was the center of this heavenly dance until Galileo came on the scene with his upstart ideas about the universe. He saw the same sky everyone else did, but came to vastly different conclusions. In Romans 3 Paul wants to make sure we understand that same truth, having the right information doesn’t mean much if you don’t draw the right conclusions.
