  • He Is Our Peace
Today is July 4th, when America celebrates her Independence from Britain’s harsh rule and interference with worshipping God. In our service today we will commemorate this event, including reciting the pledge of Allegiance and the Pre-Amble of the Declaration of Independence and special songs. We’ll be reading from Ephesians 2:14-22 about the Church's foundation, built upon the apostles and the prophets, and the Chief Cornerstone of the building being Jesus Christ himself. We will take Communion to remember Jesus’ sacrifice for the world, and conclude with corporate prayer for America.

  • Is Your Wineskin Ready?
Pastor Debbie Haynes shares some light on the parables that Jesus taught his disciples about the old and new garments and, the wineskins. Jesus is teaching his disciples that it isn’t important to preserve the old tattered garment, representing the old covenant under the law which could not save from sin, but to make room for the new, better covenant of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But, we must keep our wineskin—our heart and spirit, clean, reconditioned and ready to be filled with the new glory of God and the new outpouring of his Holy Spirit for these end times. Pastor Debbie shares a song that the Lord recently gave her, “Behold, I Do A New Thing.” Don’t you want your wineskin to be ready for the new thing?

  • A Father’s Day Story
On June 20th Pastor Debbie honors our Fathers and brings a message about a particular father, who experienced some major family struggles in his life, much from his own doing. The Lord called and anointed David to be king of Israel as a young boy, but throughout his life, his own character flaws, selfishness and unwise decisions caused him to experience some truly horrific family problems. But, no matter how messy life got, we read in our text from Psalm 121 where King David says, I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, because I know that’s where my help comes from. This message assures us that no matter how poorly we’ve behaved, or even how terrible of a father we might have been, we can always, always, repent of our sin and re-commit our faith in God, like David did!

  • The Majority is Not Always Right!
In our June 13th service Pastor Debbie brings a message warning us about the devastating results from believing what the majority believes—especially when God’s word contradicts the majority rule. In Numbers 14:1-10, we read the account of the “reports” given by the majority of the spies, which were believed by the majority of the people, but both reports and the majority rule contradicted God’s Word! God had already promised them victory in taking possession of the Promised Land, but they chose to believe the fake news! God visited them with His Glory, but this time, He brought judgment against the majority—the propagators of the fake news! What a powerful message for today!

  • Prayer & Persistence
Pastor Debbie Haynes draws upon Luke 18 and the parable of the persistent widow to emphasize Christ's message - if an unjust judge can ultimately render justice to the persistent widow, how much more will God render justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night?

  • Israel or the Church?
In our May 9, 2021 service, Pastor Debbie Haynes considers the promises of God to the people and nation of Israel. Do those promises apply to Israel still, or has the church replaced Israel in those promises? Join us as we learn that God has not forsaken Israel, and has mercifully grafted in the church to many of his promises and blessings.
