Understanding the eternal destination of a believer inherently changes one's present outlook. Paul uses the promise of eternity to awaken hope despite his daily persecution (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).

Through this sermon series, we have explored God's model of wholeness. But what do we, the broken, do? Tonight, we look at the stories surrounding the man blind from birth (John 9:1-7), the woman at the well (John 4:7-18), the woman caught in adultery (John 8:2-11), and the rich young ruler (Matthew 19:16-30). In all of these cases, though different in each, we see that Christ is the missing component and the answer to all needs.

What we do find is that there are aspects of manhood as well as womanhood that are wholly inseparable from one's humanity. We also see that God has intentionally inserted these aspects into His creation in order to display His character (Genesis 1:26-28).

There's a very crucial component in our sexuality, and that's intimate relationship. We find in the original design for marriage that God's intention for man is relationship. Paul takes this paradigm to another level when he says that the purpose for the closeness of the marital relationship is to testify to the relationship between the church and Christ (Genesis 2:1-25).
