How we defined things are very important especially in today’s day and age. Throughout the Bible we see how the children of God were taken captive and indoctrinated by the culture of their captives.

Waiting on the Lord has many applications. This week Pastor Caleb preaches on one of those applications. Waiting on the Lord in terms of having a hope and an expectation in Him.

We wait on Him to do an established work in our lives. That His plan for our lives comes to past. We seek Him so that Christ can be formed in us. That the Church come to maturity. Secure in our own calling and maturely celebrating others calling.

Elijah comes out of a great battle with the prophets of Baal. He supernaturally defeats them single handed. Jezebel seeks revenge by seeking to kill Elijah. Elijah is on the run and is feeling lonely.

God instead of rebuking him comforts Elijah and restores him like what He did with Peter.

In this week's sermon Pastor Caleb preaches on the still small voice and it's application in our lives. If God is a speaking then it would make sense for us to know how to listen for His voice.
