Welcome to our Fall Women's study of Ecclesiastes. This week, as we start the book of Ecclesiastes, Rae Paul provides a few key tips to help us think about our approach to the Bible's Wisdom Literature.

This week is such a special week of reading. The ladies in Chapter 11 are such an example to us. Mary and Martha have faith in Jesus and have the ability to be unique yet act as one. These chapters are filled with the words of Jesus as he prepared his disciples for the next step in their ministries. Jesus begins his instructions with a servant's attitude and ends His instructions with the fact that when we act in harmony the Gospel is proven true.

Amid this week’s teachings, confrontations, and controversies, an encounter unfolds between a woman and Jesus. She did not seek him out, nor was she part of the crowd searching for signs and healings. Instead, she was dragged before Jesus to be sentenced to stoning. Listen with us as we unpack this story.

John's Gospel is unique because it starts with Jesus being with God at the very beginning of our existence. These first chapters esteem the Samaritan Woman and we witness her transformation from "outcast" to "evangelist". 

In our third week of Luke, Nicole Carter invites us to take a deeper look at the parables about the lost in Chapter 15. We'll take a look at how sometimes God uses discomfort to lead us to a turning point.

This week Nicole Carter talks about the start of Jesus' ministry in Luke chapters 3 and 4. She explores how this short section shows us more about who Jesus is, the reaction to his ministry, and what that means for us. 

This week we take a quick look at Luke chapters 1 and 2. We’ll compare and contrast different responses to the delivery of good news and its ramifications on our lives.

Our final week brings us to Jesus' last words and teachings, and his final work on the cross. Mark will compel us to see the agony of the cross, and how Jesus' willingness to go there demonstrates his unwavering love for us. 

This week we feel a shift in the tone and content of this gospel as Jesus begins to fortell his death and resurrection. Mark will highlight for us the unexpected nature of Jesus and his kingdom. 

Our fast-paced narrative will slow down just a bit this week, offering us more intimate glimpses into Jesus' interactions with others. As we dig into these chapters, Mark will provide for us a deeper look into the heart of Jesus.
