Cam Green grew up in the Niagara area of Canada. When he first moved New Zealand, he started The Backyard Hockey League  which has expanded to House Hockey NZ. The League consists of 16 teams with coaches and GM's. They hold an NHL-like draft and even engrave winning team's members names on the Championship Cup.
