It is not just how you start, but also how you finish. In our final look at the life of Abraham, we discover three important truths that can help us finish our lives well. When your body fails and your energy depletes, you are not worthless. God still has a plan for you to end well and leave a remarkable legacy. 

Marriage is the foundation of all society. However, our culture has abandoned and defiled marriage. This destruction has even crept into the church. But Genesis 24 teaches us that God is faithful in His plan for marriage.

Death is an inevitable fact of life in a fallen world. Death is difficult to handle. As Abraham faced the death of his wife, we see God's faithfulness through it all. 

Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son? In Genesis 22, we learn about Abraham's incredible faith, but this story is about so much more. This chapter is a picture of the Gospel. 

How often do we doubt God's faithfulness? We forget all that God has done for us and become anxious. However, Genesis 21 teaches us that we can trust God at all times because He keeps His promises.

People fail to keep their promises, but that's never true of God. It's never too difficult, distant, or expensive for God. He always keeps His promises. In Genesis 18:1-15, we're reminded of this truth. 

"I messed up again." Does that sound familiar? In our battle with sin, we find ourselves making the same mistakes. But Genesis 20 shows us that our failure does not negate God's faithfulness. 

Jesus is risen! Yesterday, we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior. Mark 16:1-8 records this world-changing event. Because Jesus lives, we will live forever. 

What happens when we fall in love with the world? Genesis 19 shows us the devastating results. This nasty poison attacks our faith and will only lead to destruction. 

Does God ever make mistakes? When faced with a crisis, it may feel that way. But in Genesis 18, we learn that God is always good. So we can be confident that the Righteous Judge will do what is just.
