Today on the show, Steven and Shaun discuss a report by 9to5Mac which suggests the cameras on the new Apple Vision Pro headset won’t be available to third-party apps, which could have a big impact on people who are blind hoping their favourite apps, like Be My Eyes, Aira and Seeing AI, would be available on the device.

There’s also concern around the cost of the headset, with listeners Darren and Peter weighing in on the issue suggesting that a monthly payment solution might make it more accessible to more people. There’s also a suggestion that the same model could be used for specialist hardware, which is often even more cost prohibitive.

And, Negative Julian sends in his thoughts on how he identifies his clothing using NFC buttons he bought on eBay.
