Camp Cast

On this extra special episode of the podcast we have on a couple second year Junior campers Bennett Rue and Parker Subrin. We discuss an awesome Monday at camp and look back on yesterday's Sunday evening. We chat about our first ceremony at The Way (including a new Land Acknowledgment Tradition), our first round of new Big Ten activities, a King of the Camp update, Bennetts reaction to the camp food (spoiler alert - he's happy) and tease our evening camp fire for tonight, Horse Racing Night! Enjoy.

On this DOUBLE episode of the podcast we have two action packed days of camp to cover. June 25th was a LATE one that included a social with Chippewa and a mini rain storm at the end, so we pushed the pod back a day. Luckily I had Evan Rosenthal, Jake Auslander, and Joey Hazan with me today to talk about a great camp Saturday and our first Lazy Day Sunday of the season. We discuss Big Ten activities, king of the camp, cabin activities, picture day, our first chance to earn our pins (bronze, silver and gold) at each activity and MUCH more. Enjoy!

We LOVE to celebrate Menominee firsts at camp! Today, we have a bunch of firsts to be excited about...this is our FIRST episode in our new podcast studio...it's the FIRST time on the podcast for Nolan Woods and Cooper Provus...it's their FIRST summer at camp...and our FIRST Big/Little Brother event of the summer...what a day! These two rock stars join me to discuss an amazing day at camp, including our first short rain storm, Big Ten, King of the Camp, Big/Little Brother and so much more! Enjoy.

On family friendly episode of the podcast we have camp veterans Sam and Max Rosen on with their first year camper cousin Matthew Feinberg! We recap a near perfect day at camp starting with instructional Big Ten activities and ending with a fan favorite Menominee Square campfire (with a twist). Enjoy!

On this extra super special episode of the podcast, Cooper Borstein is back! We get into an amazing full day at camp including Big Ten instructional activities, King of the Camp, our first skit night of the year and much more...including a decent amount of nonsense. We had a great day at camp! Enjoy the recap.

On this VERY special episode of the podcast we have our Denver connection Carter Parks and Connor Laycob on to talk about our first full day of camp…(and we spend a few minutes on why it’s enough of Tampa Bay and it’s time for the Avs to win the Stanley Cup). But mostly we get into our Big Ten instructional activities, generals, swim tests, King of the Camp leagues, Twilight League, some crazy reveals, our first canteen and much, much more! We also shout out some Menominee firsts and highlight some worthy camp moments. Enjoy!!

Welcome back to the Camp Cast everybody! We are into Season 5 and we are so excited to be back. Today we have on 4 of our CITs, Micah Blum, Harrison Hoffman, Ben Lazarus, and Brady Weiss on to recap an AMAZING first day at camp. Check back here for daily episodes!

Hi Everybody - Jason here. That summer went by too fast! Tonight on the pod....well you get me for the first ten minutes or so. I just couldn't resist telling you about all the awards given out tonight, the honors bestowed and the accomplishments of our campers. We have a really special group here. Parents - your kids are amazing. Thank you for sending them to CM and thank you for choosing Menominee. In this episode I'll talk about who won our main awards: Junior and Intermediate honor camper, the awards for our values, and of course, the Nate Wasserman Award to the camper who most exemplifies the Menominee Way. If that's not enough, I opened up the pod today to have boys come down and tell me their best camp moments this summer. Didn't get as many as I was hoping because it was such a busy day, but we had a lot of boys come down to chat for a minute or two and share their thoughts. I hope you enjoy all of it, and I hope you have enjoyed the podcast this summer. For the Love of Camp - Jason

Holy cow! We have had a few AMAZING days at camp. We wrapped up our Green and White competition today with a 3 hour all camp Relay...but before that we had a couple days of Green & White action and much, much more. On tonights episode we bring on the Meme Team, Jonah Gagerman, Benjie Soren and Zeke. They did one of the most popular episodes from first session so we run it back. We break down the Sing, the crazy Relay finish and everything else going on at the Friendly Confines. Enjoy!

Today was NOT just your normal lazy day Sunday at camp! We had Doc's run, loyalty awards, presented Woody with a 30 year gift, had in camp Town Day II AND had our own ski show at camp. It was another phenomenal day at Camp Menominee so today we have Asher Diamond, Chase Kaplan and Spencer Auslander on to talk about it. Enjoy!
