Meet Marc and Jack Camp. Marc is my dad and Jack is my brother! I wanted to share with you two of the people most instrumental in helping me cultivate a love of the outdoors as a kid. My dad has always been the one planning the trips and exposing us to nature regularly. Jack has been my right hand man through our childhood as we fished, hiked, camped, and explored our way to adulthood. Now, fresh off an epic Montana trip together, we spend some time reflecting on our special bonds forged in the outdoors, how life can take you different directions but encourage similar adventures, and the importance of dads and male role models.

Meet Steph. A wild woman with a beautiful heart and love for the outdoors. While once on a path to do occupational therapy, Steph realized that she was not about to spend her 9-5 indoors. After being introduced to hiking and backpacking, the fire was lit for her love of outdoor recreation. Since then, she’s guided in both Montana and Wisconsin doing trips both on land and on the water! In our conversation, we touch on 3 keys to accessibility in the outdoors, the unique challenges of being a woman in the outdoor industry, and how Steph encourages others to be a voice for marginalized people in our society.

Meet Barry Williamson. A once party boy turned lifestyle entrepreneur. His pursuits in life span from renovating his new place with his girlfriend to building up everyone in his community. Through his brand, DO MORE, he’s seeking to provide resources for others to create their own generational wealth and get 1% better every day. While he’s not an avid outdoorsman, he’s looking forward to experiencing new places and even trying some new outdoor pursuits like snowboarding and whitewater rafting. Through a mixture of tenacity and vulnerability, Barry is poised to make a huge impact on those around him.

Meet Nick Roberts. A true outdoor Casanova, Nick has been making his way through life on his own terms. Backed by his family and friends, Nick has felt the benefits of his access to the world of outdoor recreation but knows its not that way for everyone. We talk about roadblocks that appear as you follow your heart, the benefits of having a Flow vs. Grit mentality, why it's okay to not have conversations with your tattoo artist, and even a little bit about the harsh reality of lost love.

Meet Brock Fisher. A stand-up gentleman with a grand sense of adventure and an exquisite taste for good bourbon. Brock and I met several years ago at Wildman Adventure Resort in Wisconsin, where we were both introduced to seasonal work in the Outdoor Industry! In our conversation we touch on deviating from your “original plan”, the viability of working seasonally as a career, a hard lesson taught by a roaring river, and the importance of getting children outdoors. Brock tells us sometimes we need to “embrace the suck” and roll with the punches so that we can help make even one person’s life better.
