1. Psalm 139:21-22 - is that not saying "hate your enemies"? 2. Matt 5:29-30 - Ok yes we are forgiven by Jesus this side of the cross, but are we not still meant to take sin seriously? How does v29-30 meaning change pre vs post cross?

Why would Jesus command Jewish ppl to eg. cut out eyes/ hands if he knew he would die and it won't apply to us anymore?

What would living out rest look like on this side of the cross? Ive had my minister say Sabbath 'as practice' is the only thing that doesn't continue after the cross bc we rest in Jesus... is that all it is?

Why do we not have any of of Jesus' teachings from after the cross recorded?

How do we correctly interpret OT law. Jesus interprets some of them, but how do we know if we are correct in a interpretation?

"The "upside down kingdom" is a common lens of interpretation many preachers have. Is it valid to say the sermon on the mount is a guide for how Christians should have after putting trust in Jesus?

If Israel was tasked with being Salt and Light to the world, is this now the calling of the Church, as the true Israel? Can it simultaneously be a judgment for Israel and an instruction for us?

What relationship does all this have to v17 - is Jesus the ultimate beatitude-keeper = to the ultimate law-keeper?

Would Jesus have been tempted as a man or as God, since he is both? How would I respond if a friendsays it would ahve been easy for him to overcome temptation as God's son, when I know that isn't true? 

Karl mentioned this at the end of TBT: If the world is enslaved to sin and the devil, who is in control? God or Satan? What are the implications for us who are saved, yet still tempted?

Was it wrong for the OT kings, judges, prophets to "test" God for asking for a sign? But often the OT doesn't portray as wrongful/sinful. Pls help

About testing: Mal. 3:10 talks about God saying to Israel "put me to the test..." IS this just hypothetical or God's command to the Israelites as they turn and repent from their sin/rebellion/adultery? God says he'll bless them and throw open the flood gates of heaven! Hyerbole? Prophecy? A command? Or is it God being boldly confident in how he can bless us?

How can we help ourselves and others talk about our embarrassing and shameful sins - such as lust/pornography?

How can we make this something we can keep checking in with follow Christians on?
