Can Fashion Thrive In Formula? ASAP Rocky x Puma F1 | TheStockroom Podcast Episode 60
Welcome to today's episode of TheStockroom!
Today we're discussing developments within the footwear and fashion space as Puma have turned to ASAP Rocky to be the Creative Director of Puma x F1. We also spoke about branding within the sports space and how players like Folarin Balogun and Erling Haaland are being used as totems in a similar manner to David Beckham.
We also spoke about Farfetch's recent acquisition of Yoox Net A Porter and how that was allowed despite it looking like Farfetch attempting to monopolise the Department Store market.
Finally, we concluded with Nike suing New Balance and Skechers with the claims that they are allegedly using Nike's already established flyknit technology to develop some of their silhouettes. As this case is still in it's early phases it will be interesting to see how this develops over time.
