Capcom have announced plans for a Mega Man live action movie fresh off of Mega Man 11. This follows suit with their plans to adapt Monster Hunter into a live-action movie, and of course the history with their Resident Evil movie series. The question begs to be asked then, can video game movies be good, or does Hollywood fundamentally misunderstand what makes people like these properties to begin with?
