However, today as much as 84% of Americans believe that self-censorship due to the fear of retaliation (like cancel culture, job termination, ostracization) is a "very serious" or "somewhat serious" problem. Do you feel comfortable speaking your mind freely today? We were joined by Dr. Chloe Carmichael, a clinical psychologist, who chatted with us about what she's seen not only in her own experience spending thousands of hours with clients about today's societal anxieties but how something has changed over the past couple of years whereas a society we no longer feel safe expressing ourselves.
