As a young person, Shannyn was offered the opportunity to work for a local mechanic after falling in love with his car and found quickly that there was no place she would rather be then understanding the mechanics of mechanics both from under the hood and in the office.

Through fire, strength and determination she has forged her way as a female mechanic and speaks about the importance of creating space for a woman's touch in the workplace; and more specifically, male-dominated industries.

With swift problem solving skills and proven competence from multiple angles, Shannyn proves that women in STEM are not to underestimated.
