Is it possible for people to change?
Intuitive healer, spiritual teacher and author Leah Guy shares a perspective on healing that includes the understanding that change is possible and steps to actually make change work positively in your life.
However, we must come to the place to release the blame of others, and take the responsibility for how we actually feel.
Healing takes effort, and it is a process, but it is totally possible.
Intention, discipline and commitment are part of the recipe to make great changes in our lives.
We are often in a state a judgment, discernment, comparison of others to ourselves and to others, and frequently we get caught trying to fix others, or make others change.
The power starts within.
It's important to understand the "why" we feel or behave the way that we do, but as far as healing goes in our personal life, we seek the "way", not the "why." We change our focus off of the other and putting the focus on the reality of how one's own state of being.
We go from "He hurt me" to "I am hurting."
Acknowledge, acceptance and action. These steps are outlined in Leah's latest book, Overcoming Toxic Emotions, A Practical Guide to Building Better Relationships with Others and Yourself, and are discussed in this podcast as the path to making shifts in our lives that last.
