Have you ever asked for a sign? Maybe you didn't get the sign, or notice it. Or maybe, you got the message loud and clear. Even still many of us have doubt, even when we say we believe, that spirit is on our side - that God listens - that we are worthy of a life that is guided by the great beyond.

Many of us believe there is an afterlife. However we may have a hard time trusting life's natural processes such as death.

Carole and Leah speak about how the eternal bond of love is real, how spirit beings are living entities who are still present in our lives, and how we can form a relationship with them through communication to further deepen that relationship.

There is no end to our loving relationships, energy is infinite. We can learn how to move through life's grief and often the guilt that comes with these transitions, to remember that there is no ending and that spirit is alive and well.

Survival Mode - we hear about it but aren't sure if we're in it. 

Survival mode is a trauma response. When we are burdened with the stress of life or past experiences or trauma, or if we have generational trauma in our families, we may have learned how to survive, but not much else.

Many people are living in survival mode. The anxious state that is overwhelmed and cannot be present or available for new experiences, feelings, spontaneity or true relaxation.

Leah covers the symptoms of survival mode, as well as how to get out of survival mode and heal. 

Some of the highlights are:
Desire to feel numb
Stuck in fight, flight or freeze
Being overly reactive
Having anxiety
Inability to focus

What is the opposite of survival mode? The ability to relax, be available, have resources on hand to pivot without panic, to authentically enjoy one's surroundings and simply being alive.

Leah shares some of her favorite methods to move beyond survival into a place of present moment living through somatic therapy, sound healing, yoga, movement for healing, meditation and more.

The final episode of season 4 brings you to contemplate how you fill your life and stay attached to your to-do lists/obligations as a survival mechanism rather than using the space in-between to access the flow state.

To be in the flow, we open to our intuition, trust, creativity, feminine energy, abundance and the unknown. It can be a scary energy to embody if we've spent most of our time in survival, or trying to find our identity based on what we do or achieve.

Let yourself contemplate and perhaps join the challenge to be in the moments in between the busyness so you can activate the energy within that wants to emerge. This practice isn't just for artists, it's for all co-creators who desire to have more peace, curiosity and joy in their lives. To feel what it is to be present and available to what is possible when we aren't jamming our time with to-dos and expectations.
