The pro-Trump hate group, Proud Boys, rejected Trump as a “total failure,” while others, especially believers in the far-fetched conspiracist QAnon movement became seriously confused because they truly believed that on Inauguration Day, their leader would take steps to arrest Democrats and other perceived enemies and remain President. When that did not happen, they did not know what to do.
