After several weeks of deliberation and negotiation, the roster is finally in place and it's ready for the first PPV event! But before we get to the action, there are a final few vital spots to fill:

- Whose voice will be heard above the din of the crowd as our ring announcer?

- Who will be the referees in charge of controlling the action inside and outside the ring?

- Who will be ringside calling all of the spills and thrills as our three-man commentary team?

Once these are all decided, it is on to deciding the name, location and run-down of our promotion's first big event!

Who will walk away as our first champions, and what will the fallout be heading to our next show?

After much deliberation and debate over the last several weeks, our wrestling promotion is very much taking shape and looking as strong as ever!

Now comes the pinnacle of all arguments - who is worth of a place amongst our heavyweights, to be in contention to be our first-ever World champion?

The only caveat for this one is that the picks had to have won a major World title in one of the top 3 US promotions in the 90s.

Unlike with the other divisions, no-one is a sure-fire entry and there are no 'wild card' picks available for this one - every single one is up for discussion!

Ash, Paul & Chris all come to the boardroom table with 2 picks each and only 4 will make the cut.

The roster is really starting to take shape now but here comes the boys' biggest challenge to date - the mid-carders!

It was often a case during the 90s that the most entertaining superstars and matches existed in the 'mid-card', usually centred around battles for the WWF Intercontinental and WCW United States Championships. These were the titles reserved for the up-and-coming superstars who may not yet be considered to be ready for World Champion status.

This is where arguably the best matches of this era took place! With the likes of Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Dustin Rhodes and Razor Ramon all at some point battling for and holding the mid-card titles, this is by far going to be the guys toughest choice yet!

To make it a little easier (or more challenging, depending on how you look at it), the team have put a couple of criteria in place for this one - their choices need to have held a mid-card title in one of the 3 major US promotions (WWF, WCW & ECW) in the 90s, but never held a major World title.

This ruling serves to thin the pack a little, but has it simply served to make the choice even harder?

Not seen as often in today's wrestling scene, the weekly syndicated shows of WCW and WWF were filled with matches that could only be considered one-sided, the big names up against local lads in what were simply warm-up bouts. But the 90s did give us quite a few names who, whilst not always known for winning many matches, do still have a fond place in our memory banks.
