Kimberly, Sonia, and Jonathan answer a question from Lorraine in Santa Cruz, CA:
“How do you determine if someone is coachable or not? A colleague shared that someone in their department does not get along well with others, yet they are a SME (subject matter expert) that is important to the business. Seems a few leaders have tried to coach them and nothing has changed.”
Kimberly offers Lorraine the recommendation that how the coaching is positioned may have a lot to do with the person’s coachability.
Sonia advises Lorraine about two key ingredients to determine coachability.
Jonathan shares with Lorraine a practice (open to feedback) and a priority of those who are coachable.
There are so many more ideas shared by the coaches you don’t want to miss.
